The spatial and organizational separation of the cancer registry into trust and analysis center ensures additional protection of the data. The trust center receives the reports from physicians, checks and processes them and—if necessary—asks the reporting institution questions. Also, the compensation for the reports from your health insurance provider is coordinated by the trust center. After processing in the trust center has been completed, the clinical data and a few personal details (sex, date of birth, postal code and community code of the place of residence) are forwarded to the analysis center.
