Your Right to Object

Your right to object

Reliable information about the incidence of cancer and the care of cancer patients is only possible if all patients with a tumor are recorded. Therefore, it is not possible to object to the collection of your medical data. However, it is possible for you to raise an objection to the permanent storage of your personal data. In this case, your name and address will be deleted after processing has been carried out in the trust center and the medical data are pseudonymized, rendering it impossible to draw conclusions about an individual person.

The medical information remains in the cancer registry and thus contributes to improving the care of cancer patients. You can hand in your written objection to the permanent storage of personal data to the trust center of the cancer registry or to your physician who will forward it to the trust center.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions about your right to object!
